NATIONAL LOCKDOWN MEASURES AND THE HOUSING MARKET

Like many people we were not at all surprised by yesterdays news from the Government and appreciate that drastic steps needed to be taken to control this pandemic. However, just to keep everyone updated the most recent guidance from the Government states: "You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubble should not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary. Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings (subject to the vendors approval) provided you follow the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing, numbers of people and wearing a face covering."

We have always and will continue to request all viewers and ourselves, also wear gloves.

In these difficult times you need an agent who ‘goes the extra mile’. We are here to help and with our experience, professionalism and honesty, we are committed to ensuring your move goes smoothly.

As per the guidance our office remains open (although visits are by appointment only) and we are on hand by telephone and email to advise, assist and support.

We are also continuing to carry out market appraisals, whilst strictly adhering to safety protocols and in many cases viewings, but these will oly be conducted with the vendors express permission and they will retain the right to decline a viewing. We are following and in some cases, exceeding the strict safety guidelines and ask that all parties play their part in keeping everyone safe and moving!
